Did you know LiveBetter offers Occupational Health Services?
Occupational Therapy (OT) is an Allied Health profession, the same as Physiotherapy. OT’s help people who are living with a disability or recovering from injury regain their independence and do whatever it is that is important to them. This includes anything that you do during the day between waking up and going to bed, from bathing and dressing yourself to things like cooking or hanging with friends. OT’s work with people throughout the life span, from infants to the elderly, and practice in many places, such as schools, hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehab centres, and in private practice.
LiveBetter recently employed an Occupational Therapist in the Rockhampton/Yeppoon region. Anthony Hartland graduated from the University of Queensland in 1996 and has worked across a wide variety of clinical and management settings, including in London and Scotland. He is available for home assessments to review your function, and suggest ways to aid your independence and safety in your own home.
OT referrals can be made via My Aged Care (if you are over 65 years old), or via your ARCS Coordinator if you already have an existing Home Care Package with LiveBetter.
